Mr. Arun Narke is one of the Vice Presidents of the Indian Dairy Association and former Chairman, Kolhapur Zilla Sahakari Dudh Utpadak Sangh. Mr. Narke obtained his M.Sc. (Agriculture) by research. He has held senior positions in various other dairies, educational, social, and professional institutions. Mr. Narke was Director, Maharashtra Rajya Sahakari Dudh Mahasangh Ltd., Mumbai; Director, The Maharashtra State Coop. Marketing Federation Ltd., Mumbai; Founder Chairman and Ex-Director, Yeshwant Sahakari Taluka Kharedi Virki Sangh Ltd., Panhala, District. Kolhapur; Member of the Kolhapur District Planning and Development Committee; Ex-chairman and Director, Youth Development Cooperative Bank Ltd., Kolhapur; Ex-chairman, Adhoc Committee of VKS Societies in Panhala Taluka, Distt.. Kolhapur; Nominated Director, Maharashtra Rajya Sah. Sakhar Karkhana Sangh Ltd., Mumbai; Member of the District Integral Rural Development Committee. Mr. Narke is the President of the Worldwide Fund for Nature; Member of Indian Red Cross Society. Mr. Narke has received many honours and awards viz.
